I've never seen him play and hadn't even heard of him till mentioned here, but who is Hackney and is there a genuine link or is it just wishful thinking on the part of some posters?

Yes we have been linked with him. Plays for Boro and England u21s. Bobble said we don't think he is An instant first teamer and no different to Garner. I personally think he's a lot better, and I quite rate Garner, unlike most. But Garner has definitely gone backwards instead of progressing (like one of Doucoure's passes ).

Isak has already threw him toys out the pram, Newcastle are looking for a new striker, this will get done. Will likely be 140m with 10m add-ons.

Don’t disagree. We can’t let this window shut without 2 wingers, and midfielder, and a right back.

I honestly think we need 2 wingers, a CAM, a deeper midfielder AND a RB before the window 'slams shut.' Can be done if we box clever and utilise the loan market too.

They will definitely sell him. It's a case of when, not if. He's made it clear he wants out, he's not training with them, left out of their tour and now an initial bid has been rejected.

They know Liverpool are horny for him and have got hundreds of millions to spend --> he'll go for about £120m imo, probably a hunny up front and the rest in semi-realistic add-ons.

Newcy Brown will sell and use the money to invest in three top quality players, probably end up stronger for it as well.

What is really going on at Everton, we never hear from the new owners, Moyes appears to be blaming the owners for lack of transfers, never hear from the board and the media are just guessing what is going on. Surely as long and suffering supporters who just keep om paying our money we are entitled at least some information.

Exactly mate. There’s every chance Fofana could come here and flop too. We have loads of Moshiri’s in here that just want the glamorous name. I bet half the people in here haven’t even watched a Lyon game.

For me, yes. But I still think we need a more established classy midfielder too, like Luiz - although he's off to Forest.

I would suggest Dibling is way down the list of targets, we clearly aren`t getting our top 5 or 6 targets for each position we are having to drop much further down the list.

Im 4hrs behind in this thread but this makes no sense to me.

Fofana can play both sides and we've bid for him. Who else for the right have we bid for?

Because there would surely be more than one or two bids leaked if we were after 5 or 6.

At £30mil -£40mil what other 19/20 year old right wingers are attainable?
