Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Don’t understand why we are not in for Hackney. Price bandied about seems reasonable and I think he would be excellent
I assume that Moyes is looking for some experience in that centre mid area from the links we have had. Also is there similarities between Hackney and Armstrong?

I like what I see from Hackney and wouldn’t be adverse to getting him alongside a more ‘guaranteed impact’ player.

It’s the same argument I have for the attacking three - I would take dibbling or fofana but think we need a bit of experience in there as well such as Grealish. Great to have youngsters coming in but important to have some experienced and tried and tested heads as well.

The CEO saying one thing, the manager saying another.
Another Everton clusterfk.
Going to be a long season if we don’t get good players in.
Moyes was never going rest easy on others being involved in transfers.

Can't blame cause ultimately he will be held responsible.

Warning signs was Tete non signing, if we are not going to compete with the likes of Fulham on wages, its going be very long rebuild...

💯... He's had his finger burnt with this carry on at West Ham.

Thing is he's to arl in the tooth these days to play the political games with the likes of Kinnear,so he'll just walk away.

Was doing abit of reading up on Kinnear while at Leeds and he is described as "Politician" who found it extremely hard to take ownership of his mistakes, which were many.

I mentioned the other week if things start going west Kinnear would absolutely have no issues throwing Moyes under the bus,Football is a small world and it's likely more than Moyes knew all about Kinnear before he rocked up.
