Reminds me of that Moshiri first summer when we tried going for the likes of Juan Mata and ended up getting to August and panic buying Bolasie to try and make a statement.

Yup. It’s also weeks after the start of the season.

I honestly would feel a lot more secure if we added a RB quickly. Defence is all important to any Moyes team.

CB is ok as long as we dont get any unforeseen season ending injuries early on. LB is sorted now with Mykolenko/Aznou. RB stands out like a sore thumb with a veteran who'll maybe get 2/3 starts and a CB adapted to be solid there.

I'm concerned that to get that business done however we'll have to wait for Patterson to be sold, and that looks remote because there's going to be no buyer.

I should say I get the idea of trying to buy the level above , it’s the correct way to progress.
But I get the feeling we are lacking sufficient preparation before we entered the window.
The handover from Thelwell seems to have been badly managed and the new system is still missing important components who will not assume full operational involvement until later in the year I believe.

Hamer got similar stats to Luiz in a far weaker premier league team.

Rudoni is untested but I think he’s good enough.

Defo capable of shooting us up the table. Both way better than Garner and can compete with Alcaraz too.

I disagree that they’re sub par and they defo are better than some of the players in teams we’ll be competing with.

Would you have said the same about players like Cahill before we bought him?

Like I said I dont think they are terrible players but I think we can do better personally. If we're shopping in Championship for a cm I would prefer Hackney.
