Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Big sexy question for ya, meff heads...

Would you prefer us doing our business AT THE VERY END of the transfer window, writing off the first few games but the players we end up with were our #1 priority targets

OR

They start dishing out those cringey player announcement videos next week like there's no tomorrow, of #2 & #3 targets and we get all of our business done before we kick a ball in the new season?

Even though it's frustrating, I'd write off the first few games for #1 targets and think about the bigger picture (the next 2-3 seasons).

Mash potato.

Or maybe a bit of both, keep everyone happy.

On a total aside, dean saunders has just walked in the pub. He drinks here a lot

He’s had highlights!!

Try and get a photo of the bellend 😂

Weird that Juve didn’t offer £50m for Hamer then really.

Tbf watched him a few times at Cov and he was great. Still think there is a middle ground between the likes of Hamer and the “must have CL football” brigade.

There probably is but they’re the high risk ones and many people will shoot Moyes down and not give the players time if he goes for the riskier ones and we don’t hit the ground running.

Implying a player is bad because Juve didn’t want him is stupid.

There’s lots of players that big clubs have overlooked that became successful. I rated Gyokeres at Coventry but you would have written him off for the same kind of reasoning because no big club wanted him.

Probably the first. If, and it’s a big if, everyone in the squad is healthy, we’ll be able to put out a similar starting 11’tonthe one that got us a lot of points under Moyes in the 2nd half of last year. It’ll just be a very thin squad, high risk with injuries, and no improvement from last year until the new players arrive and are settled.
