I think he is saying 1 or 2 short of where we should be right now, obviously with 5/6 needed by end of the window.
No, we’re 5 or 6 short of where we need to be right now. We shouldn’t be doing important business in the last 2 weeks of the window.

He won't resign don't be so melodramaticThey should have already set a deadline and moved on from all targets because leaving the squad this crap so close to the season is absolute negligence. Moyes is clearly making it public because they obviously haven't been listening to him internally or taking him serious. Can see him resigning if things don't improve in the next week, no way is he going into the new season with this squad. He's pretty much stated the squad isn't good enough and he doesn't want to manage a relegation team. His comments have now made me worried as I was quietly confident before that we had things in hand, it's obvious that we don't because he knows exactly how bad it is. His last few press conferences is his threat to the board because he has probably lost confidence in their ability to do deals. God help us, I can't do another season watching this cack as it currently stands. It's going to become desperate and they will bring in panic buys which will set us back again
I know this is the Everton transfer thread so we will have lots of differing views on it.
But I hope that those who constantly moan and give out in numerous posts hour after hour don't do the same in every other aspect of their lives or they must be incredibly miserable.
We all want Everton to do well. But really there's nothing we can do about it . Things could be an awful lot worse . Look at the likes of Morecambe and Sheffield Wednesday.
Because Brownhill would be wanting playing time not just to sit on the bench as he's come off a stellar season in the Championship so he'll have clubs offering him first team football. Look if we did buy Brownhill I'd be okay with it but it would be a sticking plaster kind of signing and I'd wager he'd be a fans boo boy when they see he doesn't have the quality to take us to the higher level
I live in the West Midlands so know lots of Villa fans and they rate Tim a lotPersonal opinion bust don't think he will ever be ready - him and Dobbin were both a deal to get round FFP
That entire midfield isn't good enough, gana is another year older and garner has gone backwards. If we enter the season as it stands we are fighting relegation. Pathetic club this, I've become angry now based on Moyes desperate pleas, no excuses to not have more bodies in by now. The recruitment team clearly have underestimated how crap this squad is which I had worried about but had put my faith in the new Everton. They need to treat every day like deadline day from now on in, no excuses, either pay the players and clubs or move on, we have ran out of bargaining powers now. He's neat and tidy
It could always be worse still. Pompey could be Pompeii“It could be worse we could be Pompey”
As another poster asked, what do you think Brownhill would offer our midfield?Well he should back himself to get game time shouldn’t he, is he only gonna be interested in joining teams that have utter crap in central midfield so he can be guaranteed a game? He’d play plenty over the course of a season, as we also have a 36 year old who will need to be carefully managed playing in there. Plus we can make 5 subs, so he won’t just be sat on the bench.
Don't be so melodramatic we'll be nowhere near the relegation placesThat entire midfield isn't good enough, gana is another year older and garner has gone backwards. It obviously depends how Moyes sees it and what he's like in training etc but it wouldn't exactly be a massive surprise. 22 isn't that young, he's been around senior football a long time now and not made the breakthrough at the top level. You'd have to say there's a reasonable chance he's not up to it.Cash in on a 22 year old who's shown promise at times just because he's not ready yet? Such short term thinking that
You don't think so, let's see if things don't improve, 2 weeks till the start. He won't resign don't be so melodramatic

Possibly but it's far too early to judgeIt obviously depends how Moyes sees it and what he's like in training etc but it wouldn't exactly be a massive surprise. 22 isn't that young, he's been around senior football a long time now and not made the breakthrough at the top level. Christ I can't believe I'm doing this - it's like arguing with a decision tree...
Ok, so here are the ZatFacts:
- David Moyes is SOLELY in charge of recruitment. IT IS ALL MOYES.
- "Players dont want to join... because the work has not been done on them to ascertain their interest"
- "Negative man-management" by Moyes
All quoting your posts.
And yet, Barry, Travers and Aznou are all on record as saying it was Moyes who sold the club to them and convinced them all to buy into the project and sign.
So your assertions above are proved wrong by the players he's hired.
Could I point out your inconsistency any clearer?
You're spinning so many plates to fend off so many opposing views to yours on here that you're losing track of what you've said.
Take a break mate.
