Disagree really. Look at the past couple of games, we're distinctively short in the middle due to injuries. I'd sell McCarthy due to his injuries, Besic is on his final chance, Barry is too old and then that leaves just Davies, Gueye and Schneiderlin. Would like a creative midfielder in there, someone in the mould of Fabregas/Arteta who can push further forward.

Why not?

considering he is behind Aguero Jesus and potentially city can replace him with a expensive player, why would they realistically ask for a fortune for a bit part player?

More to the point, didn't Sturridge (with more premier league experience) go for 13 million?

Sturridge's transfer was 4 years ago and Scott Hogan moved from Championship side Brentford to Championship side Aston Villa in January for £14m. Does that answer your query?

Off to Atletico according to quite a few reports, probably to replace Griezmann. Atletico seem to do well with play rotation...Falcao, Costa, Martinez etc... - usually making a profit and remain competitive.

I don't believe he would be moving for a fortune no. Scott hogan went to aston villa, the same villa who are an absolute shambles even now.

If City rated him then he wouldn't leave the club at all. So if they do not rate him then that does not necessarily mean they would ask for a huge amount for him. For all intents and purposes, if Pep wants him he goes nowhere, if pep doesn't want him then he is essentially just a academy player being sold on.

Butland - Yes as you know but fear we are looking everywhere but him for some reason.
Van Dijk - Yes but can't see it sadly.
Tierney - Dunno a thing but lots of teams seem keen.
Loftus-Cheek - You know I would but think he's going to get a chance there.

Hazard (Thorgan) - You bought him on FIFA. Don't even deny it.
Lacazette - Obviously yes. But he has literally said only a Champions League team.
