Disagree really. Look at the past couple of games, we're distinctively short in the middle due to injuries. I'd sell McCarthy due to his injuries, Besic is on his final chance, Barry is too old and then that leaves just Davies, Gueye and Schneiderlin. Would like a creative midfielder in there, someone in the mould of Fabregas/Arteta who can push further forward.

If City rated him then he wouldn't leave the club at all. So if they do not rate him then that does not necessarily mean they would ask for a huge amount for him. For all intents and purposes, if Pep wants him he goes nowhere, if pep doesn't want him then he is essentially just a academy player being sold on.
