Yeh I'm looking forward to doing more local stuff centred around fitness. My mate has planned Dales Way for us to the hilt thankfully as we were prepared with tents but we've sacked that offdoing it over 5 days so only about 17 miles per day, gives us more time to sample the ales at night.
15/20 miles a day is the perfect distance, as depending on the elevation, it`s a 3 miles an hour pace, with breaks.
I`d love to do all of them - The Cumbria Way / Dales Way / Coast to Coast and all of the Three Peaks, but there`s no way my missus would have me disappearing for days on end.
