Other players we've been repeatibly linked with are Zaha, Welbeck, Schurrle, Mawson, RLC and Tierney. Welbeck could happen,
he meets all the criteria of an Everton signing. Ex United player currently on the bench and deemed not good enough for a top 6 team and constantly injured. It’s like he’s custom made for us. I think RLC would be a sound signing but I’m guessing Chelsea will only loan him. Zaha is never happening and Schurrle is an interesting one, thought he was great at Chelsea but no idea how he’s done in Germany – the fact they are trying to get rid of him would be a concern.

I’d be very surprised if we sign more than 4 at most but it's good to read the manager actually say something and be blunt with it.

No way the £35m is up front. That't the portion that's not dependent on anything else but will still be on the drip.

I doubt that it is all £35m up front. It'll be in installments, most big deals are.

I see it more like that, Siggy as the deep lying play maker, Keane in for Holgate and i think Baines could still be first choice. Still think we are weak in central midfield and could do with a deep lying play-maker or no 8.

Lozano would be an incredible signing. Just think the momemnt we move for him one of the big boys will step in.

The thought of Gueye and Schneiderlin as our two centre mids next season keeps me up at night. A top quality CM should be priority after sorting the defence out.

There is a player in Schneiderlin but reminds me of Mirallas he is here for the cash, poor due diligence on character. Gueye is fire and brimstone, he is a legs player but limited creatively and has clear limits, we lack transition in defense to attack. we have close to 150 million up front in fees that we can unlock due to a lack of an expansive central midfield who struggle to transition from defense to attack. It is the priority for me.
