The club's skint.

It's AUSTERITY EVERTON.

Stop trying to muddy the waters. The club had cash last summer because we sold off the family silver. That was burnt by Koeman. He's left us immovable tat that we'll struggle to get rid of, so we are where we are: doing no business.

Why are you attempting to prop up this carpet bagger?

You're like one of those guys in Titanic who are in the lifeboat, beating away the people in the water who are desperately trying to cling on.

It’s not like people enjoy saying there are significant limits on spending or there will be a modest outlay, if people look at the most basic figures in the accounts, turnover, liabilities and wage projections there is no cash flow. That’s all lads are pointing out. Many have pointed out before the season ended and illustrated the figures early doors. It’s just the reality.

There will be a limited spend based on creative accounting in my opinion, if we have a net spend of 15-25 mill we are doing very well, anymore and I’d be worried, without issuing more shares.

No one enjoys the above, but there is little point fooling yourself that we’re going to drop 80 mill net on new players as someone predicted today.

There is very little cash in the buisness.

We've not signed anyone yet only let players go which is a surprise given both Silva and Brands have had plenty of prep time at the end of the season.
So we either have no cash, missed or waiting for a response from a player who waiting for a better offer or are delaying signings for some reason.
My only other point is that could us slashing the wage bill have something to do with being able to attract stadium investment? So maybe we will sign nobody.

@davek is bang on....proper pair of grasses them two.
Indeed...Dave's tireless efforts in exposing the 'bad apples' at Everton (i.e. bad toffee apples?),demands acknowledgement. Bainesy and Capt Jags have been outed for the pair of Judases they are, club legend, Big Dunc, is merely a training cone carrying Caledonian galoot and the club's owner is a tight fisted Persian carpetbagger.Everywhere you look, the club is in a shambles...'72 points' seems a lifetime ago!

Dave. I think you had better tell Silva. He seems to believe we will make signings and Don't need to sell to buy.
He will be very disappointed.

The song is from the Easy Rider soundtrack done by a band called The Fraternity of Man, and later by Little Feat

yep...you're right

...having listened to both versions, I can confirm it was Little Feat's version we used to listen to

Agree on this, and i would be happy with that, we only need one or two players, if we can shift a few poor ones and buy 2 big targets like the lad from Celtic or the Mexican fella, id be happy

Zaha is like Sigurdsson; overpriced because his club would be in trouble without him. But Itd be worth it if it meant getting rid of Bolasie lol
