Yeah he's a cm always has been imo and 8 is his best position and play's there most of the time.
The op called him a defensive midfielder and was arsenals best player in the second half of the season. My point was that he wasn't a dm and wasn't arsenals best player. He had only played as a dm twice all last season and had played at the opposite end of the spectrum in more games.

But that link you sent a post or two back ever where it had games played in cam cm and dm.. think cam was like 12 and dm was 8... if you click on each one it gives you a break down
