I see Gana more as box to box, just not very good with the ball or in an attacking sence. He's there to win the ball back and recycle it as opposed to someone like Barry who would drop back into defence and fill in when they do walkies. So many times jags and Keane come wandering for the ball and leave a massive gap behind because both are too slow to get back.
