Ki is a decent player but we have loads of those ( and a load of crap ones )
We don’t need decent players , we don’t need good players ,
We do however need top quality players who can walk straight in to our first 11.
Ki does not fit that criteria in any shape or form

Strange comparison aside, I don't think that any of the centre midfielders at Everton are even remotely competent, and I'm confident that Ki would walk into the team by virtue of being able to do the basics right.

He can receive the ball with minimal risk of it rolling under his foot, passes accurately to his teammates and has more than a vague idea of where a centre midfielder is supposed to stand.

He would look outstanding compared to the three clowns currently in rotation.

Did I say he wouldn’t get in our team. Don’t think I did, but he’s still massively overrated. Him and the left back davies the weakest parts of spurs’s Team.
Just watch him at the World Cup and then come back to me.

That’s not enough.
He needs to run with the ball which he can’t.
He needs to dribble pass players and he rarely does that.
He needs to be more expansive in his passing ability which he’s not capable of.

just because he could be our new signing does not mean he is definitely better than what we have.

We need a game changer. Someone who is totally different and has the ability to carry the team forward. Not someone who is only available to rotate amongst the average midfielder we have and hoping then somehow somewhere he could provide a game changing performance in one out of 20 games. And I’m not even sure if ki is capable of being an influential game changer.

I can’t believe how depressing the players we are linked to recently are, compared to the ones we have supposedly been after the last two years.

I know last years were unrealistic but it just shows how bad things are we can’t even muster up the effort to make up blag offers for top players anymore.

To be fair he gets a decent amount for our players usually.

Kenwright is a lot of things but he aint daft when it comes to valuing our players.

Three of those players were sold to city who were paying over the odds for every player they signed. Didn't they sign Scott Sinclair for 12m?

25m for Rooney? 10m for arteta? 2m for pinear then re signed him for 5?
