I might be being too optimistic Davies is able to grow into the role sooner rather than later

I think he will but we need more than one(look at the RS they have about five box to box/ defensive midfielders, same with city). We still need another playmaker too despite signing three in the summer! Vardy is a no from me just our luck he'd come here and would decline quickly form wise like Williams and Rooney did, he's of that age when it can happen over night. All yer Martials and Batshooeys are fine but without a manager to get them buzzing around it's just going to end up with route 1 or 2 like we've got at the moment.

Look at Man City or Spurs or even the RS. Why can't we get a manager to get us to play like that? We need far more than just a player here and there.
