He`s a drain on the wage bill, a waste of a squad number and more suited to five a side, than real footy.

This is the sort of business a club in our position should be doing - diligent risks (13m, young) - not splurges on the best from relegation candidates.

Pretty much what Spurs have done along with bringing one or two of their own through.

There is certainly a few bargains out there that will be worth 3-4 times what is paid, its having the right scouting to get them at the right time.

...but the saving is on salary. It’s not that bad a deal if it’s them paying full wage and with a commitment for a permanent signing.
