Letting him go for nothing would be a good deal.
He`s a drain on the wage bill, a waste of a squad number and more suited to five a side, than real footy.
If they want to pay his wages in full, let him go.

...but the saving is on salary. It’s not that bad a deal if it’s them paying full wage and with a commitment for a permanent signing.
1.5m with full wages off our books is a wonderful deal.
