Glasner, Iraola and Silva all saw out their contracts last season and did a good job. Frank in the previous season. Sure there are other examples.

I'm not convinced it's the disaster it's made out to be if everyone is professional.

Again none of those managers where a leap into the unknown, that's the problem! There was plenty of available information that indicated what would happen if they managed Everton. For example Koeman's record was very patchy, he had a history of poor man management and a poor track record when managing any decent sized club, we essentially appointed him off a good season at Southhampton. The same could be said for virtually all of the managers we'd appointed in past decade including Moyes. Can't say I've been surprised in the slightest with the outcome of any manager we've appointed in past 20 years it's all been pretty predictable.

How many of those were midseason appointments? Absolutely every single person knows how this is going to end, so let's jump into the "mid season appointment" manager part.

All 3 of those clubs made January signings aswell, so they were already planning ahead.
