Strictly speaking many more people didn't vote for Labour at the last election than did. I don't know the exact 'market share' of both Labour and Tesco, but lets assume that they're the same for sake of argument, it's akin to saying because Tesco have that market share that subsequently we are all forced to shop at Tesco, and are still forced to pay Tesco even if we wanted to shop at Asda.
