StubHub?

My sister has just rung the box office to ask about this.

Apparently, a deal is almost done and details to appear in the next few days.
It won't be in place for Watford, but should be for the rest of the season.

Thanks for sharing. They never answered my tweet.

I suppose I should get a few tinnies in for Saturday afternoon because that is confirmation that I am going nowhere!

EVERTON RENEW STUBHUB PARTNERSHIP

Everton has renewed its agreement with StubHub until the end of the 2016/17 season.

StubHub will remain the Club’s official ticket marketplace for the next two seasons.

The partnership offers Everton Season Ticket Holders the added benefit of being able to resell their seat for Premier League home matches at Goodison Park they are unable to attend, meaning they can avoid their seat going empty.

The 2014/15 Premier League campaign yielded a Club record number of Season Ticket sales, which led to a high demand for seats with 12 out of 19 home fixtures selling out.

Being able to buy seats via StubHub’s marketplace, allows single match ticket purchasers the opportunity to attend games they may have otherwise missed due to the increased demand and sit in some of the best seats at Goodison Park.

Sam Lucas, Head of Partnerships at Everton, said: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with StubHub. Season Ticket Holders have been using the ticket resale service for the past three years as it offers them flexibility. Buying a Season Ticket is a big commitment so knowing you have the option to sell your seat for games you cannot attend on a safe and trusted site, is very reassuring and enables you to get even more value for money.”

StubHub has been a partner of Everton since 2012 and is used by thousands of Season Ticket Holders each year. The renewed agreement includes new terms and conditions around list prices to introduce a more uniformed pricing structure.

Nick Harford, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at StubHub International, said: “We’ve worked closely with the Club over the past three seasons and have evolved our platform in a way that we feel works for Everton and its fans. We look forward to providing the official resale platform for the Club over the next two seasons.”

This is a bad thing right? As they don't have limits on what tickets can be sold for? Just legalized scalping while everyone gets their cut to keep quiet?

Very few matches went for more than face value, most seemed to be cheaper. They're talking about new t's and c's around list prices so hopefully they'll set a % ceiling on tickets like some other clubs do. Guess we'll have to wait to see the detail though.

What a great place. Well for those who can't afford a season ticket.
I just bought a city ticket to the Top Balcony for £27. And in May I bought a ticket to Sunderland for just £18.
I can't afford all the price at the moment, but Stubhub is really helpful.
Will be very happy to meet GOT users if there are somebody who cares.
I really hope that this game will be like a turning point for Everton.
COYB!

Just bumping this.

Does anyone know if Everton will be renewing StubHub? Figure given so many season ticket sales it will be of use to a lot of fans who cant make a game.

Banged your head recently? Actually, pointless question really as you wouldn't remember if you had.

The majority of my ST will be on Stub Hub.
Absolutely no need to make money off other blues. Even when you factor in the fees you can sell for below face value for walk up ticket sales.

It's not uncommon for sponsorship/commercial deals to not run their duration/break clause.

Stubhub branding has been removed from where it was previously on the EFC website, as well as their dedicated page removed and the dedicated Everton branded section on Stubhub removed.

They have a tab on the Everton website but it goes to a page that is dated - still referencing Roberto Martinez;

If the arrangement is still in place, why isn't the sold out Everton vs Spurs on it? A fair few will no doubt be on their holidays etc.

Could be pretty useful this year. Hopefully it's face value sales. Lots of decent blues have sold at less than that too and full credit to them.

I've got cheap tickets for family off there, and also sold my seats for about £20 each when I couldn't make a game. So you're right, it's very useful, but I just wish they'd cap it at face value to stop people getting ripped off for Liverpool/United etc.

And the buyer should get a home credit to their name when buying off Stubhub in my opinion.

a question for those in the know....I have just listed my ticket on stubhub for the stoke game as Im on holiday when its on, its the first time I have used stubhub to sell......I know that the buyer should be able to pick the tickets up from the box office on the day of the game but do I need to register with the club or with stubhub to get this arrangement going or do they automatically set it all up for me?

All done automatically mate. StubHub notify the Club when your ticket is sold and the Club will deactivate your season card for that game. The buyer picks up a paper ticket for the match on the day of the game from the Goodison box office
