Strikers needed not Defenders/Forwards

Why does the Gaffer not have more forwards at the club and why is our youth system allowing young players to leave. (n)

To be fair we do have 4 strikers and the young players leaving are obviously deemed not good enough.

I've been trying to find that one out, Bruce.

Ray Hall and Andy Holden have both made comments in recent interviews about last week "having to tell some lads they were being let go" but there isn't any information about when or who around.

We have just fell into some bad luck. Vic sick coming home from Nigeria duty. AJ groin strain can't blame him to bad hes like the ever ready bunny just keeps going and going and going. Vaughan the fearless just gets stuck in there and unfortunately pays the price. Then to top it off our main attacking midfielder Cahill with a reoccurant metatarsul issue. Absolutely bad timing for all this to happen. I can't see us being to top heavy on the forwards and going after another one in the summer. My main emphasis would be on a Cahill clone and a Arteta clone. Give me two quality midfielders this year and we will be great and knock those bloody Reds off their perch.

my thoughts of forwards and strikers using a couple of kopshites as examples

to be fair no one expected the run of injuries or I doubt Faddy would have been sold and unless your a mega rich club the squad is always going to be on the small side (y)
