Strengthened?

I am knee deep in George Orwell again, regardless of how far I get otherwise, I seem always to be drawn back to the vulgarity and viciousness and then either react or realise I cannot (cannot being worse because I have been desensitised or threatened). Tightrope.
Still, the animals went in two by two hurrah hurrah...

Seriously, what is your game?

Ghost, Suits, what a night. jeez I thought Cal was back as well when I saw that bumped thread before. (y)

Who has actually strengthened?

Apart from City. Villa haven't really, and I would say Liverpool certainly haven't, and neither have Man U. Arsenal are leaking players like no tomorrow, Chelsea are pretty much as you were. Spurs are kind of investing, and then you have the usual suspects passing mediocre around, oh and the new boys coming up spend a little.

I'm not concerned about the season, looking forward to it on Sat.

City have gone further forward than we have, as have Spurs. Arsenal have simply through injured players coming back.

We're not suddenly a bottom half team by any means, but anything other than pessimism after this summer completely boggles me, and suggests naivete

Completely agree (y)

Other than city it has been a quiet summer thats for sure..no doubt come august the 31st all hell will break loose like last year though.

I will add i honestly didnt expect many signings this summer (though we do need a couple more) mainly becuase of the money factor..i.e we havent got much.

Well I remember this time last year and Micknick made a point that I was being a little negative, and look what happened? Best season we have had a in a long while.

Hence why I think a little positivity goes a long way, I learnt a big lesson.

So feel free to go all Kipper or Tony Marsh, it's your right as a fan, but don't say I am being naive because I am not negative, that's not really fair.
