Not quite, I think he would've liked a few more goals out of that lad since he's been here. Forwards/Strikers are acquired primarily to score goals. Hold up play, distribution and work-rate is all well and good but it's goals that win you games and get you the points.

I like The Count though and would very much like to see him started up front with a Jelavic tandem come Saturday. Might just be too soon for a start from the Croat this weekend though so might have to do with a place on the bench.

Moyes wants a Tevez-type player as a striker. He can't afford one so he tries to compensate. Doesn't work sometimes as weve only had players who are boss slotters but are "lazy" or ones with good workrates who don't slot regularly.

unfortunately i wasnt at the game, but caught the extended highlights on my lappy.

Firstly, ive thought he could always have been useful to us however, after a few games i thought hes just an average joe.

HOWEVER, after fulham and his reaction to scoring endeared him to me..

Then last night was epic, his header that lescott cleared off the line i thought was a brilliant header that was half lucky...but then he laid one to felli and i reckon hes got absolutely fantastic technique...i think he can be a real asset to us!!

I heart Denis.

I hope we keep him, drenthe, and manage to convince peanuts to stay..
