Finished today.

Need series 2 right now.
Be interesting to see if they continue the plot of the first, or create a whole new plot with new characters. There's enough for them to continue with the existing plot, but they did sort of cover most of it off, so it would seem like they're eking it out a bit.

Personally I'd just prefer each season to be a contained plot, make the whole 'Stranger Things' brand a bit of an anthology like The Outer Limits.

Hard to discuss without spoiling but it looked very very easy to continue along these lines in season 2 to me.

Don't think the soundtrack was an incredible as everyone makes out. They don't capitalise on it the way Donnie Darko did. The theme tune was the best thing about Stranger Things, musically.

Thought the cover of Bowie on third episode was brilliant (had no idea it was Peter Gabriel), literally gave me goosebumps. However, I have noticed that they've tried to withdraw from having too much background music. Donnie Darko is on another level, though.

I think it's supposed to be a continuation, which I'd personally prefer as I quite enjoyed the story.

Love the opening titles.

Just not sure what there is to go with, other than a big exploration of 'the upside down'.

The story was great but they're in danger of milking it too much.

Think the Chief and his deal will play a big part.

Just finished the first season last night and this is my thoughts. The chief has got to be the biggest part of season two, so much to his story. Also the doctor definitely isn't dead, expect his snidey side to be at the forefront again.
