It's brilliant, best thing is it doesn't use cheap tricks like having a big 'reveal'...old fashioned story telling...also great metaphors for real life child abduction, mental illness etc

Tempted to start this up considering everyone is talking about it.

Is it enjoyable or is it a slow program? Does things happen every episode to make you glued to the screen so to speak?

I thought it was awful to be honest. Like someone said earlier, if you're from 8-15 years old you'll probably like it (or similar mental age)

:) I can only assume you fall within the parameters of my previous post :) :)
Goonies,
Monster Squad,
Stand by me,
IT,
ET,
Alien,
The Evil Dead,

I could go on and on but the amount of pure bossness that this series not only takes inspiration from but openly revels in and still makes it work as a stand alone series is astonishing.

If you love the above then you will love this and if you don't then you don't matter.

Fight me.

Quite decent, but totally overshadowed by 'the night of' which in also watching at the moment. That is exceptional so far.

I loved that could watch it and work out exactly what scene was influenced from where. As you said, they are so open about it, it's not a problem.
