Not sure he is. Cryptic message on instagram looks like he may well be fit.

Who knows.

Maybe he is, but if he has pulled out of the Swiss squad you'd wonder how he could play tomorrow. Sounds to me like they don't want to disclose it yet:

Xherdan Shaqiri is a major doubt for Stoke City's match against Everton.

It has emerged the key forward has not trained since Stoke's defeat to Manchester City on Monday after suffering a calf injury.

He has already pulled out of Switzerland's upcoming friendlies against Greece on March 23 and Panama on March 27.

Paul Lambert had been coy about team news when quizzed at yesterday's press conference, saying: “There are a few decisions to be made before kick-off and there are a few areas of the pitch that we may need to shake things up in a little bit.”

Shaqiri has a reputation for scoring freak goals (such as the one against us a couple of seasons ago, which was an attempted cross which went wrong/right (depending on how you look at it)). Hope he doesn't repeat his trick to turn a 3-0 Everton victory to 3-1.

Same back 5 as last week

Snides and Gana in Defensive midfield city, with Rooney behind tosun. Walcott and Bolasie out wide.

Not what I'd pick, but its what I think Sam will go for.

Can we go there and look to have a go at them? it might just work you know Sam,massive clubs like Bournemouth and Huddersfield go away and do it and you know what?it works occasionally for them;)lol

I usually go to stoke on the coach or we all jump a minibus, ending up in some social club not far from the ground. But a few of the lads have started spewing the away games off, so doing the train down today.

Does anybody know if there's a specific boozer for everton fans in the miserable butt-hole town center that is stoke. Sure someone mentioned a large bar the other year, think they said that a soccer bus runs from it or nearby as well, cheers:pint2:

The Terrace bar, it's not far from the station and the bus stops there.
