Having thought about it more, I reckon this would be worth a go (although the chances of it happening are slim to none):

Pickford

Coleman - Keane - Jagielka - Baines

Gueye - Rooney

Walcott - Vlasic - Bolasie

Tosun

I'd prefer to keep Rooney deeper as that is were he's clearly been at his best this season. Vlasic in the number 10 role around those other three forward players could be very interesting to see, the only issue being that he wouldn't be 100% fit having not played in so long. A fit Vlasic there though is definitely worth a look in my opinion.

Reality is though that we're probably going to get Rooney in the no.10 and Schneiderlin coming back into the side with Gana..

Vlasic isn't coming in lads, and Klaassen isn't either against Stoke. Can see Gueye obviously returning and sitting alongside Roonaldo in the middle, and knowing Sam he'll put DCL and Jenk up front. The rest same as against Brighton.

Two strikers, two wingerss and Rooney in a two man midfield.? In an away game? Under Allardyce? Are you feeling well my friend?

Stoke have only conceded 10 goals in 9 games since the start of the new year; then again, they only scored 5 in that time.

If we fall behind there it could be very difficult. They've been drawing a lot though, and we cant win away, so I expect this to be a point apiece.
