He's "apparently" handing in a transfer request, to push through a move to join us.....I have literally changed my complete view on him (y)

I didn't think he'd leave Newcastle (still not too sure he will), he seriously puts it about though on the pitch chasing everything, got to love his work ethics....

I think it is interesting if he does hand in a transfer request to force through a move....... Is that really any better than what Lescott has done?

Think he is a 20 mill player waiting to happen, im always impressed with anyone who does well at Newcaslte - given the horid injuries they endure annually and the turnover of managers. For him to develop as much as he has up there tells me two things he has talent and a good attitude.

I would be surprised if this transfer is easy though given he is a Geordie they will be loathe to let him go and the lad himself may be in two minds. You could look at this one being for the Geordies what Rooney leaving us was like. I know hes not of that calibre but its the same princpal. I would be surprised if he handed in a transfer request, him being a local lad, Newcastle his home city and he genuinely seems to love the club.

Maybe the overalll dynamic at the club will come to bear, there isnt much further Ashley can push their supporters.

We know how to pick them eh, while your there Davey pick up Joey as well.

You got that right. I really cant see how this one's been thought through. He's well down the pecking order that started off with Naughton and Senderos.

Yep, equally as bad....especially if he is Newcastle through and through (where Lescott isn't)

But if that is true, and he wants to join Everton, god love him

Fair potential though IMO mate, i like this one was impressed by him in their games against us especially the one at Goodison.

"Committed" seems to be the positive spin on him. All I can say is that from what I've seen he's a donkey.

As far as CB goes Moyes was not looking to replace Lescott but ti get cover. Jags is still a long way off and then Yobo will jet off to Africa for a few weeks. (thank goodness, if we have to sell a CB really it should be him)
