agree with most here. Saw him a couple of times this season and he isnt up for it nor up to it anymore.

might have a pass in him now and again but its too few and far between.

Needs to retire or move on. Not the only one though in fairness.

His problem for the past one and a half seasons is playing with a constant gob-on. (when he actually plays)

Pre-Spurs he was more smiley than Eto'o, whenever I see him now the world is against him.

Certianly not "Enjoying his football" or "In a good moment" when he plays.

Been one of my favorites, been boss for us but hes always broken now and on high wage, be best to let him go. Preferably to someone else though, wouldnt give that ginger t@ a cold

Overall he's been a good player for us. If it's Real Soc' then Moyes knows him better than most and will look to squeeze 2 more seasons from him

.......regarded by his team mates as the most talented player at the club. That's some accolade. We really have missed his ingenuity, RM calls it "somebody who plays between the lines". I suspect the physicality of the Premier League might have caught up, after all he's only about 10st. Only the club will know that.

regardless of whether he moves we need another of his 'type' because he and Osman are too fragile.

Same. At £2m one of Moyes' best value for money signings along with Arteta and Cahill.

His link-up play with Baines when he was in his pomp will be talked about for years to come at Goodison as they formed the best left sided attack in the league for a time.

But if his legs have gone they've gone. Maybe a slower paced league like La Liga would suit him at this stage of his career.

What I liked most about him though was that he always played with smile on his face.
When we first signed him he was great value. But re-signing him for £4.5m in 2012 on high wages has proved to be a mistake.

Another creative player out the door then. We only need to retire Osman and Martinez will have jis dream of a team of players with zero creativity passing sideways all match. One of my favourite players. Had he been fit would still walk into the starting 11. Best footballer in the team.

Another 70k a week player not good enough any more ! Get him gone as well and replace him with someone who can actually start a game ... No time for maybe thoughts - need someone to take hold of this quickly !

Rumour that he's off.

Gutted if true.
With Martinez and the boys on a jolly in the Middle East it's clear that we're not going to be signing anyone. So to be letting anyone go, irrespective of how much or how little they might contribute over the next critical 4 months, would be criminal.

Will always love Pienaar, one of our best players of the past 20 years. If he does go then I wish him all the best, shame he didn't have just a bit longer in his legs. God how we could do with the old Stevie right now.
