Why do we need to waste money on this pillock? Just let Koeman buy the players he wants and be done with it. Now we're going to have to wait weeks for Steve to compile some lists for Koeman to choose from. What a load of nonsense.

Koeman doesn't want to spend most of his time scouting and want the best to do this for him while he spends time on the training pitch with the players which is fair enough

Its all good having an opinion mate but why are yours always so dismissive? Either i am unlucky and every time i read one of your posts its negative or you are really are a miserable sod when it comes to Everton.

Why not look at it that we are finally doing something about the infrastructure of the club which lets be honest has been needed for a while. I'm sure Ronald will know now after assessing the squad in Austria what he needs and will have a list of positions that need strengthening, why in that case will it take Steve Walsh two weeks to get cracking on said list?

Granted old Everton were a bit of a shambles but we seem to be turning the corner with what is being done off the field, now why not give the new guys until the end of this transfer window and see where are heading instead of the incessant put downs which in all honesty are tedious to say the least.

I'm sure you would enjoy life and Everton if you were just a little more positive about things ;)

Walsh isn't being targeted as scout. He's been targeted as DoF. That means he works in tandem with the manager and owners to set in place his own style that then translates down through the club.

It's how Moshiri believes that you can build a successful club in the long term. If a system is set in place, and new staff adhere to that system/style, then a potential managerial change or change of playing personnel suddenly isn't such an issue and wouldn't cause upheaval.

After Walsh's work at Leicester, Moshiri obviously believes this is the man to take up that role.

Hated the DoF years at SAFC was a total disaster especially the "Udinese Model" under Keith Lemon (de Fanti) signings like Altidore lol. Once we got rid of it under Big Sam our signings and team got better. Don't like the thought of some clueless [Poor language removed] picking players for managers just look at them up the road from us with Carr as an other example

Hopefully for yous things will work out different ;)

Any chance you can email this Walsh for us and tell us you're looking to sell Kirchhoff for £1m? Cheers.

At the end of the day he is a man who has a genuine track record of being an eye for talent!!

Drogba
Zola
Essien.... Holy

His brother was a blue and Moshiri/Koeman are happy to have him on board so lets welcome him to the family!!!

We have a manager who perfered a dof and we have Walsh coming in who knows how to spot a player, it's the same model that worked well for Sevilla tbf and if Koeman leaves we will still have a dof in place which is more stable when you lose a manager

lol Only 12mth left on his contract as it stands (new one on the table apparently) Short will probably sell you him for £250k . He's class though even if he only lasts 70/80mins a game

The only concern is we have lost Steve brown to man u, wasn't he one of the best scout in the game He found us our latest gem in John stones. It's seems that Brown was as good as walsh.
