Stephen Lawrence

So that should have a bearing on sentencing guidelines?
When you are espousing the concept of imprisoning people for what could be 60 or 70 years, then I believe some responsibility has to be accepted upon the part of the detainer, this is the same argument I have had with the death penalty bunch, sound, push for it, that's great, only one thing, want to have them hanged or imprisoned for eternity? fine, but when you get it wrong, your life is on the line! Such a great idea now? So much faith in the system still?

Thought not.

You can't base a system of justice on "oh but what if they turn out to be innocent."

I'm absolutely happy for murderers and rapists to rot in cells.

Stephen Lawrence killer admits role but refuses to name accomplices - BBC News https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cewn99k9l7zo
David Norris during his parole hearing has finally admitted his part in the murder of Stephen Lawrence.
He evaded justice for 19yrs so has only served about 12 years for an abhorrent crime that shocked the nation.
I am of the opinion like the family of Stephen that Norris should not be considered for parole until he reveals who carried out the killing with him.
Only Norris and Gary Dobson were finally convicted of his murder although there was a gang of at least 5 present.

Send him back and forth across the channel in a leaky boat 'til a decent wave gets him.
