I remember Mirallas was good up front a few times, even on his own. He'll enjoy it. Del & Mirallas are a good pairing maybe. Unless RK is like a Jedi Master, and Niasse & Kone are actually going to play like Eto'o and Ronaldinho

Since Del has been playing there all pre-season and is next to hopeless on the left...

I prefer Mirallas up front, but if Lukaku is out, then both of them!

This is assuming that Rom & Seamus won't be fit to start. Best we can do given the circumstances I reckon, although there's a good chance that Cleverley might start over Lennon.

If Lukaku does miss out, which is looking likely, I'm looking forward to having Gerri up front. He'll keep their back four on their toes and Pochettino may not set them up to press right up against him because of the speed.

Holgate *should* replace Coleman if he misses out. Solid defensively and proved himself - to an extent - this pre-season. Of course, he doesn't offer a whole lot going forward but then you could allow Baines to bomb on and move Holgate over into a 3 at the back while attacking, doubling up on the Spurs counter-attack.

agree with that lineup. cant help but be dissapointed we haven't added a few gems yet, what a letdown this window has been so far, bolasie and bony dont excite me either. think williams will be a good signing though

Although not sure if we will play a 4-4-2 diamond or just a standard 4-3-3 with Barkley playing as a 9. The difference is pretty subtle anyway.
