I hope I'm right Joe but I sense good things with the new set up, it's why I'm not too concerned yet about signings etc.

stek has looked better than howard and joel in pre-season

gueye, dont know much about him seems like he will give us legs in midfield

defense should be better organised

lukaku will be a big miss, but deulofeu up front gives us something different

mirrallas and lennon should hopefully be able to get at their full backs

game on!

Steck has not done anything to impress me last week 2 Nd half a cross on the penalty spot came hesitated it hit their player on the shin fortunately it went straight into his arms aka Timmy mk 2 IMO!
Not been tested enough no difference to Robles IMO no improvement there watch this space!

I'm just harping back to 13/14. First few games were all about the new style etc etc (and even so RM had Moyes' solid foundations to build on, unlike Koeman building on RM's flawed ones!).

After the close of the window (which I agree needs to herald activity for us) is when the season really kicks-in...

Potentially think Lennon will start whatever, though, even if Rom is fit and Del is available.
