Personally I wouldn't ever go to a match wearing anything but the team colors. But that's me. I don't really get the whole "too cool for school" attitude.

You obsess about Everton 24/7 but CBA to wear blue to the match?

Hugely different mentality from the States mate. It's not about public displays of affection that are about the fan showboating as much as the team. Its different here, its about Everton and your mates. And getting away from your bird for a few hours.

Each to their own but I'd rather I left ours and made my way the match without anyone knowing my business. Then when I'm there I'm not arsed about the away team out singing us or acting dead zany for the camera.

I'm only arsed about Everton beating them playing some boss togger and hopefully monstering a few of their players so they know the [Poor language removed] that they've played Everton and pipe the [Poor language removed] down to whatever backwater little skip they came from.

Then a boss pint and home.

I think it's a Goodison thing too. lots of the new build stadiums may very well appeal to the fun loving soccer am look at me I'm a zany supporter of any generic top four prem side type crowd, but try walking through the subway under queens drive flyover wearing your blue and white jesters hat and it's a whole different ball game...
