Nothing wrong with GP when we can be arsed. Our atmosphere is rarely electric, but it's quite often evil!

Players and referees don't get intimidated by singing or colours, they get intimidated by aggression, which we have in bucket loads.

Hell hath no fury like a full Goodison with a perceived sense of injustice.

Keep up the good work lids.

As the years have gone by more and more people are now starting to believe that it is perfectly fine to turn up in club colours
They act as if it makes no difference at all to anything or anyone! Can you believe it?

Goodison is located in Compton right?

Maybe your mates are afraid to tell you
Maybe my mates couldn't care less what I wear because they aren't 13 years old? Since I have never spent a single second considering the fashion or hairstyle of a single one of my mates I would sincerely hope they operate the same way.

your girlfriend certainly wont, but believe me when I tell you that when she smiles coyly and doesn't really say anything when you ask her if you look cool it isn't cause she is aroused by the sight of you it is because you look like a WHOPPER and whopper conduct leaves one speechless.
The only whopper conduct there is asking another human being if you "look cool."

Just make sure you don't look like your own mother dressed you before turning out.
Reasonably confident my mum would want me in a suit or some smart attire not a bloody football top.

Maybe it was my imagination (and summer probably helps v. winter when everyone is wearing coats that are typically black or grey) but I thought there was more blue there during the last game. Keep it up everyone!

So far the only moderately compelling view I have heard from the anti-blue people is from Jay Z.

It's not just intimidation, it's also about inspiration. I know that players have said that singing can inspire them. Singing can also wind up the opposition fans which can make them fans restless towards their own team.

As for whether wearing team colours adds anything? I haven't heard them say it helps seeing everyone in blue neither, but money to the club shop helps pay their wages, so whether you buy a replica top or spend your money on Chang at the match it doesn't matter.
