Because the death penalty will always mean a not guilty plea and the trial will run and run and cost millions. There are cases like this one that justify the death penalty.
When there is absolutely no doubt that they are the killer. What is the point in putting him in a cell for 50 plus years it costs thousands to imprison him and pay prison officers to watch him.
You're right, but theres a lot of people on here trying to score points because of there own beliefsIt's not a competition.
I am not sure if I was 100% guilty that I would prefer to spend 50 years in prison than the death penalty, either way your life is over .Because the death penalty will always mean a not guilty plea and the trial will run and run and cost millions.
Appeals will happen and the defendent will be in prison for years, still costing millions without giving closure to families.
Also, there are lots of studies which show that the death penalty doesn't give closure/is ineffective as a means of closure to families.
It depends on how evil they are i suppose. Thank god justice was served here.Pretty sick and warped if you want to watch someone die terry.
This just turned up, seems it was an academic study of.The thing which really strikes me is how little remorse he's got.

Just makes me feel ill. People stabbed several times, some fatally and he feels neutral.
He's never getting out, doubt he's going to survive long in prison. Criminals or not, there will be parents in there who won't like what he's done to innocent children.
Without wanting to sound disrespectful, it's not about your feelings or what you think is justice or which you think is a worse punishment.I am not sure if I was 100% guilty that I would prefer to spend 50 years in prison than the death penalty, either way your life is over .
Not saying you are wrong it's just my opinion
It's not the thing I'd try and make after watching breaking bad.The ricin thing is interesting
The first time I ever heard of ricin was when I watched breaking bad
I wonder if he saw the show and tried to emulate it and make his own ricin
Public execution?! What's that going to achieve
Who can watch, would it be a ticketed event?
An eye for an eye.I would support the death penalty in cases such as these. Ideally public execution.
