Current Affairs Stabbing incident in Southport

Indeed so I see that Reform MP''s want a full refferendum over the Death Penalty due to the"Leniant Sentance" passed down on the Southport killer. Not that I class 52 years BEFORE parole can even be applied for leniant but never mind, be 70 when out.

What annoys me is that they are only doing this for political reasons. Meanwhile the Reform News commenters lap it up.

Where was Farage and the ilk when Jo Cox was brutally murdererd, Shouting her widower was an extremist that's what. I didn't hear them calling for the Death penalty then.

He did say something when David Amess was killed but again I would suggest only thinking of his own protection. Its why we can't be ratioanale.
It's fifty-two years before he can be considered for parole - it doesn't mean that's when he'll get it. Usually, it's another two or three years after that if it does occur.

In reality, he will likely die in prison unless there's a) a huge reform in him and/or the law changes.

Really wish it was true but isn't he in Belmarsh right now?

Maybe he’s waiting to be transferred there? If he is already there how boring does your life have to be to tell people you know a lad that’s said his brothers have done him in 😂. I’ll message the lad that sent it to me and call him out on it, the fella in the voice note is so sure of himself. I hope he’s been played like a fiddle rather then him just chatting wham

Edit

Looks like the papers have already rubbished it

He was at HMP Manchaster (Strangeways) because it's a remand and Category A prison, with a wing for serious prisoners and those at risk themselves.

Due to his age, it wouldn't be surprising if he went to a young offenders wing somewhere, before eventually ending up at Belmarsh or the likes, at the age of 21.

If he's gone straight to Belmarsh, it's because they see him posing as a real risk, and also for his own security as they have isolation wings.

Yeah, I imagine they’re going to have to keep him separated from the main population for the foreseeable future like Ian Huntley.

I imagine even the vulnerable/own protection wing (the nonce wings in other words) would still be too dangerous for him.

They probably needed somewhere away from the north west with the facilities to keep him segregated long term.

Feel for his parents. Must be going through absolute hell. The right wing Neanderthals will be all over them the rest of their lives too.
I feel sorry for the killer. Those kids were flaunting the facf they had their whole lives in front of them by playing, smiling and laughing. How dare they! How can I donate to the gofundme for the killer? What can we do to shut down those who want to stop children from being stabbed?

How can we introduce more people like this into our neighborhoods?
