Now Dave as for the immigrants, sure many had skills to offer which we were glad to have but the bulk of immigrants (legal,illegal, asylum) have no skill;s to offer but took advantage of this governments open door policy to let everyone in to make this country multi racial, multi cultural and look where their policy got us. But of course Dave as this was a major failing/blunder of this government you will want to gloss over that and return to accusations of the Tories sending blacks back. There are still immigrants backed up in their thousands over in France desperate to get in here. I wonder why?
Not being funny, but I do have celt blood in my lineage (a great great scottish grandmother), stacked up against Maroon blood (full blown African blood if you please). The stone I was throwing was your very generalist swipe against all immigrant. my father, an immigrant, came over as a master carpenter, not a scrounger.
He's made more of a working contribution than the royal family to this country in common with many immigrants. And I really don't separate good royal from bad. The seed doesn't fall too far from the tree.
I only responded to your over generalisation. Some immigrants, who have not become the nation's no 1 family, and biggest scrounger might take offence. And my celt lineage goes back further than the Queen's very, very recent germanic roots, even having to change her name to Windsor from a German one as recently as the first or second world war.
