Goat

Player Valuation: £380m
I think the squad looks a little better now, yes we have got some injury prone players and we really dont know about Castillo, but i just have this hunch about him. He knows were the goal is and cant half hit them.

Fellaini is a beast in the air and i heard hes never scored a goal with his foot, which is quite lol, but from his style of play hes like Cahill, he arrives late in the box and at 6foot 4 he aint gonna miss many crosses, unless its Neville, IM JOKING!!!!:D

So my point is we now have 2 very Defense Minded Midfielders who can score goals, which will prove invaluable. We all agree if we can get Saha fit hes a good player and also can score goals given decent chances. We just need to iron out those Defensive problems.

I hope we steal Pompeys Formation of 5-4-1 i think we would honestly shine with it, the only problem would be getting 1 of our RBs to convert to a wingback, cos Baines can clearly play Left Wingback, but i dno about Jacobsen, Neville or Hibbert on the right.

Anyway i feel a lot better now than i did last week, i feel we have a stonger squad and POSSIBLY a stronger squad than last season, but only just. I think Fellaini and Castillo are good enough replacements for Carsley and im undecided on AJ and Saha, only cos i think we will struggle to get Saha fit week in, week out, but AJ wasnt ALWAYS fit.

Anyway i was bored last night and thought i would see what sort of cover we have within the squad, i may have been kind with some players and listing postions that they could MAYBE play in, rather than postions they are natural at, but i know feel we can cope with a FEW little injuries. If every1 is fit, which i know is impossible, our benchs will really look good and thats the yardstick of progress.

I honestly feel that only the lack of Obinna has stopped me feeling overjoyed with our dealings, although i feel we slightly overpaid for Fellaini, there is no doubt in my mind that he become a legend if we can keep hold of him.

Anyway this took me ages to do so im gonna post it!!! :D

We aren't there just yet. Castillo and Fellani were big but a huge loss in Obinna.
Question marks on Jacobsen and Saha. Saha could really thrive here if only the injury bug would abate.

To be honest I dont know anything about Castillo.and dont think we need Nash if Saha get fit and stays fit he will be fine.as for our main signing only seen him play once but I trust Moyes would not splash that sort of cash without being sure. and its squad players we were mainly short of whether this has improved us from last season will be interesting to see.Now city have joined the Chelsea set its going to be hard to claim 5th spot depends on who they get at the next window.looking on the brightside if City knock the shyte out the top 4 its not all bad:lol::lol:

Yes i agree we have some question marks next to a few players in terms of fitness and indeed quality, but i just feel Moyes knows players, he makes the odd cockup, but he doesnt suffer fools gladly and i recall last season wondering why he hadnt give Graveson more of a chance, more so after he came on and changed the Bolton? game.

But then when he did come on he was awful, so if any of the new players dont have anything to offer he wont throw them on just for the sake of it.

Also i watched Sultana Sports News for most of the day/night, cos them evil Sky ppl took SSN off us virgin ppl, did any1 else notice how many times the dude outside Citys ground said "Watch this space". i honestly thought he was taunting us!!

Its a real pity about Obinna but sheer imcopetence on the clubs behalf im not hugely critical of the club but that was a farce going through with a hearing knowing to quote Elestone that he "fell far short" of the qualifying criteria, the secretary should be severely sanctioned.

Im concerned about cover at CB and Midfield if im honest i know we have many players who can play numerous positions but the lack of natural width in the squad is something i would have liked to have seen rectifoed.

top class post mate (y)

I'm certainly more satisfied with our squad. I'm sure some signings where like "wtf mate?!" but hey, Moyes is the right man for the job.
