Tough one to call this, but I believe human nature will play a part and subconciously some Everon players will want to do a Richie a favour.
I'm not suggesting for one minute they will throw the game, but I think some won't be giving it 101%.
As humans it's difficult to inflict pain on an old friend and he was very popular here.
I will be very surprised if we even get a draw for the above reason plus the fact we are dog turd at the back.
Our last 6 games we have coceded 14 goal, Spurs have conceded 7.
If I was the Spurs manager I would play Richie from the start, get him talking to our players and hope.
Richie has a lot of catching up to do with the Spurs fans who think he's crap.

I really hope it's a tight game and we go into the final 10 minutes with Spurs needing to score to go in front, especially if WHam are beating Leeds, just to see the nail biting and fear in the eyes of the locals so that they can experience how we've felt these past few seasons...and probably been lapping it up.

….pretty much my view too. We tend to be hard to beat but my fear is conceding early could make it very difficult for us. The game is more important for them, which could actually work in our favour, events elsewhere in London could also have an impact.

Good that it’s us involved in such a high-profile game, even better that it’s not us in Spurs position but it’s difficult to feel positive.

Why would they need to score to go in front? A draw is perfectly fine. They definitely won't be pushing forward if West Ham are winning and they are drawing — that would be suicide if we hit them on the break (I'm actually laughing at the thought of a 'quick' Everton break though).

Can we just for once deal with a very poor side, imagine they’ll be wracked with nerves I think an early west ham goal helps us , just get the first goal Everton and see the absolute fear in the home support
They'll play a person up front who hasn't scored in about 17 years, and we will make him look like Prime Messi. Everton that.

The boring cart will play the same back four and will slot McNeil in on the right

I would like to see some change to the XI given the woeful form of late plus lack of pace
