You know Im a superstitious , pessimistic , Mo'fo . OK . But its just dawned on me that the last time we defeated our Clampett relatives in this competition , we went on to play West Ham .
They beat us 2-1 , as I remember . I was there , actually , but it is during my , cant-quite-recall-details period .

However ...
# It was away .
# We're better now .
# We had a horrible , bright yellow kit . Doh !!

The first time i wore my new Everton home shirt was the home game against Villa in Decemember.

I thought about wearing it for the first game against the rs but decided against it.

I ruled out completly any chance of wearing it for the rs cup replay or the Villa game yesterday.

Think its safe to say i will not be wearing it again (y)

i'm not superstitous but damn!

Ive not worried about West Ham since Trevor Sinclair left, didnt he always seem to score at least two against us!

Our record isnt bad against them home and away!

The point was though lad , they beat us in the cup when wed beat the shabs . Thats the point kid !!!

Yeh it was 2-1, an unknown kid who i dont remember doing much after it (Stuart Slater), scored both goals. I dont fear them in the slightest

And last time we played West Ham period, we scored three goals in as many minutes at Upton Park.

as thats when we fcuk upand Dave I think you must have been stalking me you seem to have been to every game I have :lol:

my worst game first away game and first time to London Spurs did us 10-4 where you there ?1958 I think

In spirit brother . I wasnt born until 5 years later . Im an extremely sprightly 45 . Its the last time ll say it .( I look 10 years younger , if I say so meself , than the kids Ma . I have a lo-o-o--o-ng laff about it . She , somehow , fails to see the joke . Birds , eh !! )

I still think its a dodgy one, and we could get complacent , and if we werent so drunk with joy , we might say , Lpool in the Cup , Lost to W Ham , Hmmm . I did , anyway .

No lad , you mean the semi . Villa park . 1st game . Replayed Elland Rd , Latchford on the railings , Lampard running round the corner flag . Bastardos !!
