2-0 down last game of 1993-94 season v Wimbledon, thought that was it😔even at 2-0 down v palace there was still the very very faint hope of a last game survival at arsenal though thank Christ it didn't come to that🙄🤣

Allan’s red card against a Newcastle team we’d been dominated by at home. Expecting us to then lose that one and it was in the middle of a run of about 7 losses or something and we had West Ham away, Burnley away, United Chelsea Leicester x2 (when they were good) Liverpool, Brentford, Watford away, Palace, Arsenal left. Plus Allan on a three match ban. I thought in that moment we’re down.

For us to then win that one and beat United Chelsea Leicester away, and Palace at home to stay up before the last game I would have said you were crazy, especially if you’d said we’d only get 1 point from the Burnley Brentford and Watford games. I still don’t know how Lampard did it. I think that’s a better great escape than anything we’ve done before from that position.

I think for me it was the Leicester first half injury time. Coleman going off on a stretcher and then a few minutes later they get a penalty. Those few minutes felt so long at the time and just felt like everything was finally coming to it's end for us.
