Will be difficult, I hope Armstrong doesn’t make it for them because he links stuff together, no Walcott obviously as well. They tend to play 442 so it would be good to see us try and dominate the midfield with Gomes Allan and Doucoure, James joining in. Added with our set pieces threat, it would probably leave us just having to watch out for the counter attacks to Ings and Adams.

In the last game, VVD at the beginning of the match against James and Allan and not recklessly but if in a way premeditatedly. God and Pickford through their clumsy rejection prevented this player from continuing to care for ours. ¡GOD SAVE KING JAMES AND PROTECT OUR TOFFEE REIGN!..

Nobody will be jet lagged, we should be much better prepared, these are not Liverpool but Richi will be a miss, I'd like to see Bernard but I think it'll be Iwobi.

I imagine Armstrong will likely tuck in central as he isn't a natural wide player - potentially would give James more freedom down the flank otherwise as you say we have to take advantage of the extra man in the middle.

Saw a bit of the Chelsea Southampton game last weekend, Southampton are heavy pressers of the ball, this led to chelsea at time having the opposite flank completely free. Hopefully we can get James to keep doing what he does best, drawing in pressure and players and exploiting the spaces.
Haven't seen them lately but if it's true that they play a pressing game, that would mean a) we should be able to play through it and create chances as they surely as good at it as the rs. And b) they haven't got as much quality on the ball to punish us so, c) we should batter them.

These are utter mid table poo. doucoure and Allan will snuff out any nonsense in the middle of the park. Ings will cut a
lonely isolated figure up front. DCL will most likely bag his third hatrick of the season. Digne will torment their right back, sprinting on to pinpoint balls from the right from the Columbian wizard.
Make no mistake, we are now the real deal. We don’t worry about rubbish like jarg Pompey, but they will have nightmares about us.

Would love to see Gordon slot in, but I'm sure it will be Iwobi. Should be enough against this team. Allan, Doucoure, Gomes in the middle with James and Iwobi tucking in a supporting Dom, who will carry the whole goal scoring load the next few games. Can't imagine Kenny will be back quite yet, so would not be surprising to Carlo to go with his staggered defense approach where Godfrey stays back in a three at times and Digne bombs forward.
