At home it can work, we've seen it.

Away against teams that aren't the top 6, I agree. But we can't go 4-4-2, cause we're useless at that. Has to be a back 3 for me, Clive, and one of them two drops out.

Everybody seems to hate him on here - and there's been an awful lot of revisionism over the past few years

But David Moyes had us playing better than this.

He had a much better side, just didn't have a striker.
Question is, with the side he had and if he had a decent striker would he have been able to mount a proper challenge for the title.

That wouldn't solve anything. It'd just end up with us going long and playing into their hands. Issue is we've got nobody dropping into space in front of their defence. We've got Gana-Gomes, then a 20 yard gap to Gylfi.

Add to that, our movement from the midfield onwards has been pretty much dismal for the past few games, which means it's even more difficult to play forward.

Keane gets slaughtered for his passing but hardly anyone bemoans how our players aren't moving, showing for the ball and would rather hide away.

Richarlson has look alright when he's got on the ball but hitting it up to him expecting him to win it against them big defenders hasnt once looked like it will come to anything

Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Lookman etc wouldn't half benefit from it.

Yeah agree. Noticed the long throw in the last home game, and doing again today. Not as if we win a lot of attaching headers from corners or free kicks.
