Plus we had less shots,less on target,saints were by far the better team and it proves stats dont always seem real and will to people maybe make it look like we were unlucky if they just used stats to view if they had not seen the game sometimes

I never take any notice at all of stats, your own eyes should tell you more than any stats could.

We did have a lot more possession than them, but most of our passes were sideways. Southampton were constantly looking to get the ball forward and just wanted it much more than we did. The team is crying out for a leader, but, who that is going to be I haven't a clue. Pickford has a few detractors on here, but, at least he isn't afraid to shout at somebody who makes a mistake. I'm surprised that he hasn't lost his voice by now.

Leaders give advice and encouragement to their team-mates. This helps to unite them as a team. Players know when they have made a mistake. Criticising an individual afterwards doesn't always help. Besides, it's a team game. A player in an exposed position will often be there because of the actions - or failures to act - of others.
