I'd be surprised if he starts on Saturday. Ings will be first choice if he's fit. If not, Austin.

Unfortunately we aren’t much better, in fact bar Man C, Liverpool, Spurs and now Man U the quality of the Premier League is awful.

Southampton have only won once at home all season and should be losing to Derby at the moment. I agree that the Premier League does lack quality in depth, but, still feel that we have shown more than Southampton so far this season.

I think it was Long that the saints boss said he was impressed with recently,in the way he adapted his game since hes came [may be wrong player],he started last sat,came on ht the game before and off course started tonight

That being said, I think I’m expecting a draw in our game this weekend. I also expect the game to not rise to great heights as a spectacle as neither team plays particularly attractive football...too static and one dimensional (imo of course).
But I’d rather we play unattractive togger that garners points than scintillating footie that doesn’t.
So, long story short: 1-1
