This is the bit I don't get. What are you talking about? You seem to be suggesting that god is a physical being.
He used to drink in the Eagle & Child, he's a boss pisshead.

Again it says it in the bible. Generally if you ask any religious person where god is they will point up.
I'm hardly speculating here!
I am talking theoretically.
God is in the sky, the devil is below the ground. So if you believe so much in the sky god then go and find him, rather than sit on the ground and argue about who's god is greater.
Personally i am an athiest, so don't believe in god. But others do, and some of those war over it, whereas if all that money and effort was put into society to further advance technology then perhaps exploring space and finding life within 100 years isn't too much of a fantasy.
I mean step one is finding a way to get back from mars.....
I freely admit to having never read the bible, so I bow to your superior knowledge of the texts.
Perhaps you could quote me the specific chapter which says "God is in the sky, the devil is below the ground"

and where would that be located?
I mean extra terrestrial (calm down Bruce).......personally I reckon there are loads out there, for no other reason than there are so many planets that we can't even count them.......so yes or no.......
Well, life happened here, so there's no reason why it can't happen elsewhere. That's how I see it.I'm healthily skeptical of the atheist-types who spew this argument. The universe is finite. There is every possibility, maybe even a high probability that sentient life on Earth is unique in our known universe, and even more than Science cannot even come close to reproducing organic matter from inorganics. The probability that a volcano erupts and somehow the atoms thrown off land in a pattern that is able to reproduce itself is... dubious.
He lived in USA though....there is definitely life on other planets, I saw ET.

Except as we've discussed, given the elemental makeup of the universe, life will pretty much have to be of a form within our comprehension. As i have said before.
Life may already be out there but not as we percieve it. we see Aliens on having two legs, two arms, a head etc. Why does that have to be intelligent life? what if it doesn't look like what we expect it to?
In fact what if it is beyond out comprehension? We only know life as we have experienced it but in an infinite space, with infinite planets so to speak, there is plenty out there we cannot comprehend and therefore intelligent life or even advanced life forms may exist beyond our logic to process.
