Not sure it's fair to call it a saga, after all Ross has kept his head down while (it seems to me) that the club have been the ones pushing the story. My own take on it is that he is being gently pushed out and the contract offer is a screen to maximise his value, but that's just my take. If he decides to stay and turn things around (with RK and a few numbskulls) then I'd be delighted.

Robles quoting today he is in for a showdown as he feels he is being pushed out!
he wants to stay too!

Ta.

To be fair to Robles, he's never going to be number 1 here as some fans and the manager have doubts. For his own good going elsewhere would be good for him.
Fair dos but I would rather Stek was dispatched first!
Robles has done more than ok - again like Ross been singled out dropped the Steks groin strain is lingering on lets face it he was dropped as he is utter crap!
Yet when he steps down it's an injury when Robles makes one mistake criticism like Ross from RK!
RK has an history look at Mane with the other lot one of their best players RK fell out with him!

..Moshiri said Koeman was ruthless. To be honest I have no problem with him moving players on that he doesn't want even if we disagree. He'll be judged by results and by his team, I'm ok letting him get on with it and nobody will complain if he moves us on a level. If he doesn't he'll be out.

THIS
There is no room for sentiment in football management. If Koeman is not convinced by a player, then he will move them on and replace them. That is exactly what I would expect him to do.

Being ruthless for the best is great , get it wrong and he may destroy our chances his stay with clubs is three years so let's see?

Ideally I'd like him to stay. He's not been living up to potential for a while now though, so it's a bit cheese on arse biscuit. If we actually signed Sigurdsson he would struggle for game time anyway, or would be forced to score and assist goals consistently :coffee:
