Is dragging on a bit now, but think @Tubey makes a good point that it all should have been done behind closed doors without Koeman adding fuel to the fire in his interviews.
If Barkley does sign he's just going to get grief anyway "no one wanted him, only reason he's staying" etc.

He's been offered a good contract, he's refused to sign it. There's no choice really but to sell. Rubbish suggestions on Talkshite Radio this week that Koeman is forcing him out with this ultimatum is utter nonsense IMO. Koeman just has no patience for game playing, Everton "we want to keep you here's the contract" Barkley "I'm not signing". Seriously who does it look like is the one manoeuvring to leave?
I like Koeman's straight talking, but he could have easily just said though that there is an offer on the table and talks are ongoing (would like to think they are) Just my opinion like.

So why doesn't Ross sign, is it career, personalities or greed, either way the fans are getting the crappy end of the stick....
Holding a gun to his head ultimatums is not the Everton way - Lukaku turned much more down, and can't trap a ball, contracts in the workplace should be confidential if he moves on then the club says why!
Get rid. He's been offered a decent contract and won't sign it. He's actually above his level playing for us. The club is bigger than any player
