Sky TV fixtures announcement

Urgh.....another Friday match. Won't be going, too much of a pain to get there in time. Sick of these Friday games, bloody money grabbing PL

Kind of goes to show/proves that the PL/Sky etc don't give a toss about the everyday supporters.

Can't they understand that for a lot of fans, the last home game of the domestic league campaign is a big event - no, they move fixtures to suit their own agendas and bugger the fans.

It doesn't affect me personally, but I feel gutted for all those who have made/were making special travel/hotel arrangements for the 13th.

I have a fifty mile commute from work to home. Pick son up and then another fifty miles to Goodison.

All in about two hours . On a Friday eve. Joke.

Good luck with that mate - you might be best taking the afternoon as a half day holiday.

I had already paid for flights and requested tickets etc. Now it's an extra £150 on flights and then the hotel price for the Friday night.

And the kids need to miss a half days school as well.

Not happy.

Will have to see. Stacked up with leave cause of holidays already.

It's just a farce. Think of all the kids who live longer than say fifty miles away and have school that day too. Urgh.

Sure I read somewhere Sky had ditched their Friday broadcasts.
Whatever, got a right monk on about playing Friday evening.(n)

no they have one more on this season, think it might be spurs v west ham, so have 4 slots left out of the 10 they bought which they obviously arent going to use.

@jinkyali @Armaghtoffee

And anyone else having to pay for changes to flights/travel/accommodation and/or take additional time off work to make this changed fixture... my suggestion is keep an accurate log and any receipts for said changes and additional costs - photocopy everything and send a strongly worded letter to the Premier League requesting reimbursement.

The only way to stop this nonsense is to make them fully aware of the costs they are causing genuine supporters.

Any Watford fans who were coming on the Saturday, will almost certainly need to book time off work in order to make the game.

Feel for you matey. I detest using the M62 at the best of times but Friday you may as well not bother.
Half day for me it is!

They've done it haven't they so they can have another "10 Days of Football" thing they usually do around Christmas.

Looking at the fixtures....

Only 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 11th and then the final two days before the end of the season in 19th 20th, are not having Premier League matches played on.

So thats 5 out of 19 days.
