Is this not something we were laughing at West Ham about last year. With there "Goodbye Boelyn" features and special sections etc.
Similar also, would we not be going into over boil if this was a RS sky sports day. Claiming a biast media narrative etc.
You are 100% spot on mate. But I reckon you will have a decision to make in the near future. In my opinion, if we are going to be a club that can attract the sort of corporate income that we need to compete with "the Sky 6", we need to become the same as them. We need to become the type of club that we currently criticise and occasionally ridicule. That won't sit comfortably with many blues, but, in my opinion, it's the price we need to pay if we're to join the elite.

Just seen that on Facebook, why the heck is Carragher there? He may have been a blue once, but he is an even more vocal kopite now (to overcompensate). Surely they could have at least got someone impartial, what is Champagne Charlie Nicholas up to on a Tuesday?

...they are doing a training set piece together that will be shown at some time in the future.

Oh, i agree with that mate completely, i just hope it dosent fall flat in our face West Ham style.
E.g announcing they are in for every striker this summer and getting Zaza instead.

...it's not like we are selling our sole. Earlier there was a very good piece about Everton in the Community and how that is expanding. Project Everton is all about change but it's also about retaining the club's heritage and character.

Like Sky poo-hawks, he's following the money.

I would prefer to see someone like Carragher on TV, who every one knows his love for the reds. He dosent let that cloud his judgement on them or even sometimes he sways further the other way to make sure he isnt accused of being overly biased towards them.
Other side of the spectrum are the likes of Redknapp & Gerrard who are so 1 sided but cant admit it it's unbelievible

agree 100% with this
There's plenty that don't though and, financial matters aside, that's probably my biggest concern.

Fans pay their money and are entitled to their opinion. But the amount of vitriol thrown at the likes of Barkley, Stones and Osman over the past few years doesn't sit well with me. Imagine what it would be like if Rooney is having a bad game.

could you imagine the fume if one of our greatest players turned up in a LFC training kit? Would Neville do a piece on City wearing their Sky Blue? Henry in a Spurs kit?
It's brilliant seeing him squirm, seriously reckon there will be some rs fans who lose the plot with him for this. Saying that I'd be appalled to see someone like big Dunc or cahill in a red s kit. He's quite a good pundit though carragher to be fair to him.

We aren't selling our soul Eggs but our image within the game will still inevitably change. We'll be one of the have's, rather than the have not's. We'll become one of the envied, no longer everyone's second favourite club. EITC may well continue doing fantastic things, but it won't be acknowledged by the none Everton public as much as it is now. You can see it already in the comments of many on here, the arrogance that comes from having money. Accusations that we have thrown at City and Chelsea fans in the past, will undoubtedly be thrown at us. It's just the way it's going to be mate.
