I'm kind of with you on that, I'm not sure what formation we are meant to be playing, 5-3-2?, 5-4-1?, 3-4-3? 3-2-3-1-1? It seems messy at times, hopefully after a big summer window we will see what it is Koeman is going for and how he is trying to get the team to play

..interesting what Ferguson said about today's training session, "it'll be geared to keeping possession but when that isn't possible we go direct".

I get that the exposure is welcome but surely we don't need a whole day of this, it's embarrassing if nothing is actually happening.

This was planned - it won't be an Ad-Lib/Let's see what's going on down Knowsley way, you never know, we might get a scoop...yeah why not, I've nothing on that day.

Is this all today is to be about? Trying to flog Rooney to us and pointless interviews you could cram in to a 15 minute section any other day?

Wow.

...I'm enjoying it. Good insight from the interviews regarding training sessions, tactics and some of the earlier discussions around governance and the DoF role were good. Feel good factor around the place is obvious. I don't think it's about Rooney but the journalists are seeing an opening there because of the responses.

I took a day off to see top quality viewing, I wanted to see Elstone pushing the button that sees Goodison blown up right as we cue to the Mersey to see the new ground rise out of it like one of the helicarriers out of the Avengers films.

Colour me underwhelmed so far.

Get the ball up to the big man and get support in around him. It works when you have the players to do it, which we sort of do now, with baines and Coleman supporting wide, Barkley and Lookman getting in the box and Davies, schniderlin and Gana taking it in turns to hold or go forward.

In previous teams we have tried this tactic and failed because we haven't got enough support into the striker quickly

...programmes not finished yet, Matey. Just seen a few helicopters flying towards the docks.

What I don't understand is, why choose Everton? I know it was Moshiri's anniversary yesterday but he has not been seen. I think there is more to this but I just don't know what. Surely us sat in 7th isn't such a massive draw that would require a whole day devoted to us for absolutely no apparent reason??
